Each September, the
Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport hosts the three-day
Adirondack Balloon Festival. Queensbury is home to SUNY Adirondack, a fully-accredited college that is part of the State University of New York system. The Warren County Bikeway, a paved 12-mile bikeway, connects the Glens Falls
Feeder Canal with the
Lake George Battlefield. The town also boasts an indoor shopping mall and incredible factory outlet shopping.
West Mountain Ski Area offers skiing for all ages, tubing, twilight hours and events with a vertical drop of over 1,000 feet.
