Adirondack Art to Antiques for Sale
In Long Lake, from July 29-August 2 photographers from throughout the Adirondacks will be available to meet as they display their work at the Long Lake Photo Show & Sale.  A town wide garage sale and flea market is being held on August 9 where you can find knick-knacks, antiques and treasure.  The annual Adirondack Authors Night will be held on August 12 from 7-9 pm.  Meet your favorite Adirondack authors, story tellers and musicians while enjoying live performances.  Bring your own music and books for an autograph, or pick up something new at Hoss’s Country Store.

Antique Events
The Madison-Bouckville Antique Show begins on August 10 and continues through the 17th.  Set up along US Rte 20, 1,000 dealers are waiting to buy and sell quality antiques. Hold the date of August 9 for the Cheshire Union Antique Show  in Canandaigua.  This one day event has over 100 exhibitors with an emphasis on Americana including primitives, pottery, samplers, quilts, silver and furniture. Greater Niagara’s Old Timers Day in Albion is held on August 2 at the Cobblestone Society Museum. Visit the museum and buildings for live tours, browse at the antique show, and check out the Chinese auction and various presentations. Stormville Airport Antique Show & Flea Market attracts over 600 vendors, from more than eight states, with an extraordinary collection of antiques as well as a large selection of new merchandise and arts and crafts on both August 3 and August 30-31.

Garage Sales and More
Treasure hunt through junk and jewels to discover items that will make you smile at a price that will please and satisfy your budget.  Travel to the Stony Creek Mountain Festival from August 1-3, for not only a garage sale, but a barbecue, auction, entertainment, music and dancing.  The Town Wide Garage Sale in Long Lake is held on August 9 while a Grand and Glorious Garage Sale takes place city-wide in Oneonta on September 13. The weekend of October 4-5, the "Warrensburg Worlds LARGEST Garage Sale" annually draws more than 1,000 vendors. While the main street is packed with sellers from across the country, Warrensburg's side streets will be buzzing with treasure hunters and bargains galore.
