Description:
Competition to see who can throw a snowsnake (six-foot wooden stick) the furthest, at speeds reaching over 100 mph along a quarter-mile snow track.
Traditionally, this was a man’s game used to sharpen hunting skills.
The event is FREE and begins at 11:00 am at the Erie Rail Yard on N. Main St. across from the Salamanca Rail Museum.
