Enjoy an expansive brunch buffet at the award-winning MacArthur's Riverview Restaurant overlooking the beautiful Hudson River with an educational tour of West Point’s manicured grounds. The excursion kicks off I Love NY’s Spring/Summer Getaways!

Ever been to the Corning Winter Farmers Market? Well it’s your last chance to hop to it this month – it ends April 18! Get fresh produce, naturally raised meats and eggs, maple, honey, wines, baked goods and so much more! The best part? It’s all fresh and locally grown!

Bacon lovers, rejoice! The Bacon and Beer Classic in Manhattan is April 25, with all-bacon-everything cooked up by local restaurants and an assortment of brew samples to quench your thirst. Did we mention it’s hosted at the famous Citi Field?

Want beer but don’t like bacon? The Five Boro Craft Beer Fest in Long Island features 33 local brewers serving over 100 craft brews. There will even be small-batch, never-before-tasted beers that will be brewed special for the festival…oh, and a ton of live music, too!

Get fancy with your beer. At the Climbing Bines Brewmaster Dinner in the Finger Lakes, New York-trained chefs feed you creative gourmet dishes while Climbing Bines’ Brewmaster pours delicious brews that pair perfectly with each course! It’s every beer lover’s dream.

It doesn’t matter if you like beer to chug or sip, to pour one every night or once every blue moon (pun intended), the TAP NY Beer & Food Fest at Hunter Mountain is an absolute must. As the largest craft brew and food event in all of New York State, the weekend-long festival is sure to be a great time. Enjoy amazing brews, locally grown snacks and even better company!

The Wine & Cheese.

Wine more your thing? Taste more than 30 regional wines from New York State wineries as well as a myriad of different snacks whipped up by local Buffalo restaurants (including locally made cheeses!) at the Buffalo Wine Festival on April 18!

Can’t wait ‘til April 18 to satisfy that vino craving? Then head to the Finger Lakes the weekend of April 11 to taste new spring wine and spirit releases from the Lake Ontario Wine Trail at Roll Out the Barrels! When you’re done tasting, stop by any of the trail’s delicious local restaurants for some farm-to-table goodness!

If you love wine, then chances are you also love cheese. The Bloomy Rind Cheese Pop-Up is April 10 in New York City and it’s totally and completely free! Taste dozens of cheese while you check out awesome art installations all day long!

There’s a reason New York State is known for its maple syrup, and with two maple festivals this month, there’s no reason not to try it.

Head to Franklinville’s WNY Festival in the Chautauqua-Allegheny region for freshly-made syrup and maple bliss. Join in on festivities like all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfasts, and craft shows.

For a whole weekend of maple delights, head to the Hadley Maple in April Festival in the Capital-Saratoga region. With French toast, pancakes, recipe contests and food vendors alike – there’s no way you’re leaving this festival hungry or unsatisfied.

Some of these events are age restricted – check the event websites for more information and, as always, drink and drive responsibly.
