The Hyde Collection will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the oldest regional show in the country. This special anniversary will be marked with a museum-wide exhibition juried by Michael Oatman, artist and associate professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Mr Oatman has exhibited extensively in the United States and abroad. Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson region is hosted by three organizations, The Hyde, the Albany Institute of History and Art and the University Art Museum at the University at Albany on a rotating basis. As the oldest annual juried exhibitions in the country providing a leading benchmark for contemporary art in the Upper Hudson Valley and artists living within a 100-mile radius of Glens Falls and the Capital Region.
