The list of events with an undeniable LGBT appeal includes the Oz-Stravaganza in the Wizard of Oz author's hometown of Chittenango, the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival in Lucy's hometown of Jamestown, the massive Annual Madison Bouckville Antique Week, and the rainbow-colored magnificence of spectacular hot-air balloon festivals in the Adirondacks, Capital-Saratoga and Finger Lakes region.
There are holiday events, from Halloween spooky doings in places like Sleepy Hollow to Dickens Christmas festivals and drive-through holiday lights displays in the Finger Lakes, on Long Island and in the Capital-Saratoga region.
