We’re inciting art & cultivating community through our production of The New York International Fringe Festival. Our low ticket prices encourage adventurous theatre-going & the subsidized performance opportunity allows artists to gather in one place & time to develop new work. We believe that we’re uniquely positioned to open doors, forge pathways and remove barriers for the next generation of playwrights, performers, producers, & technicians. Through collective bargaining, shared resources, and leveraging the economy of scale, FringeNYC is a model of not-for-profit entrepreneurship – operating on 90% earned income, while spending only 5% on administration. Our special events “surround” our 1,200 performances to enhance the mission of The Present Company – and provide a larger voice for our community. Our three primary constituencies – artists, audience, and volunteers – symbiotically well serve and are well-served by FringeNYC. But there is more to be done.
