An official Path Through History Site! At the Long Island Railroad Terminal and yard at Greenport the visitor experiences the history of the LIRR as it traversed Long Island from Brooklyn to Greenport to speed travelers and shipments through rail-ship-rail movement from NYC to Boston. The museum displays historic railroad cars, artifacts, and photographs in the village`s former railroad station. The Village of Greenport includes the East End Seaport Museum, the Railroad Museum of Long Island and the Stirling Historical Society Museum, all just along Main Street.
