The Hann Homestead

Details

Interested in traveling off the beaten path? Follow in the footsteps of Revolutionary War Patriots as they made their way from New England to the wilderness of Western New York. In 1840, the beautiful Hann Homestead Inn was built by Simeon and Rachel on a 600-acre tract of land and is now owned by their GGG Granddaughter Barbara (Strouse) Rechenberg and husband Kurt Rechenberg. The Historic Hann Homestead Inn is located in Andover, NY. Situated on 16 acres of beautiful rolling countryside, it can be found in the heart of the Southern Tier of Western New York State. A former stage coach stop and Inn and a rumored part of the Underground Railroad , the 174-year-old home is truly a trip back in history with a modern flair.
