Tobay Beach

Details

Tobay Beach derives its name as an acronym for Town of Oyster Bay. It is an exclusive beach in Massapequa just passed Jones Beach on a quiet bay with calm, shallow waters. Tobay is lively but rarely over packed. Its only a short walk to the water through any of three different tunnels, the east of which leads to the surfing area. Body boarding is permitted in all area of the beach and fishing is permitted except between the hours of 8am to 5pm. At the beach visitors will find a September 11th memorial, the spray park playground and Singleton’s Seafood Shack, a casual sit-down restaurant. Non-residents are allowed to visit Tobay Beach during the weekdays only and must pay a $30 fee.
