The New York Times called it "stunning". The Wild Center, including the brand new Wild Walk, the region's only trail across the treetops, is an all-day attraction. It includes 81-acres of outdoors, a 54,000-square-foot museum with movies and live animals, guided canoe paddles and hands on everything. Highly rated for all ages. Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day 10AM–6PM, 7 days a week. Labor Day–Columbus Day 10AM–5PM, 7 days a week. Open Presidents' Week (Third week in February) and Martin Luther King Day, Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Special Holiday Hours: December 26–31 10am–5pm. Late Fall, Winter & Spring are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm until summer hours begin Memorial Day weekend. Closed for the month of April for exhibit installations.
