Catskills Region, N.Y. (Aug. 11) - The Catskills mountain bike trails traverse epic vertical feet and wind around the region's mountains and valleys. And the number of recreation areas is growing with the recently opened Windham Mountain Bike Park, home of the only World Cup circuit race in the United States.

This past weekend, American Aaron Gwin won the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup at Windham, hurtling down the mountain to thunderous applause with a time of 2:38 to win the Men's Elite DHI.
