This new festival, held as part of the statewide Path Through History program, features displays by the Delaware County Historical Association, the Meredith Historical Society, and the Greater Oneonta Historical Association. The workshop, led by Pamela Cooley, will use recipes and techniques popular in the 1920s. Participants will learn how to prepare soup, a spring chicken dish, seasonal vegetables and salad, quick bread and two special desserts. When all is ready they will savor the meal in the house's dining room.

Colorado Springs Fine Art Center Catskill, N.Y. -- The new exhibition of landscape masterpieces by Frederic Church and Thomas Cole is now open at the Thomas Cole Historic Site, featuring twenty artworks from 1844-1850, focusing on the early work of Church when he began studying with Cole in Catskill, New York. The exhibition includes plein air studies by Church when he was an 18-year-old apprentice as well as large, highly finished and stunningly skillful paintings that were completed just a few years later. Compare Church's work to Cole's from the same time period as they covered the same territory together.

Under new ownership and recently renovated, you can now "pay when you play" on one of the Hudson Valley's top 18 hole golf courses while experiencing the scenic beauty of the Northern Catskill Mountains. The pool and tennis facilities open June 1.
