Syracuse, N.Y.- Destiny USA celebrates its two-year anniversary on Saturday, August 2. The shopping, dining and entertainment destination was rebranded from Carousel Center to Destiny USA on August 2, 2012, after the expansion opened to the public. It's been a busy year for Destiny USA between its increased tourism outreach, expanded programming and new marketing initiatives.
Syracuse, N.Y.- Destiny USA will launch its Summer Fun Day Pass on July 1 for families and friends to enjoy the many entertainment venues available at the facility at a discounted rate. The program will run from July 1 to August 31, 2014.
The Summer Fun Day Pass is a booklet of vouchers guests can purchase at one cost to trade in for admission tickets to the participating venues.
Syracuse, N.Y.- Destiny USA is hosting Tykes Tuesday again this year in conjunction with Regal Summer Movie Express. The programs are perfect for families who are looking for something to do while the kids are on summer break.
Tykes Tuesday will be in the Canyon Area every Tuesday from July 1 to August 26 from noon to 2 p.m. The nine-week program will be packed with entertainment from an appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog to demonstrations by the Syracuse Police Department.
Oswego, N.Y. - On February 28, the first annual 'New Year, New Shopping' challenge, held at Fitzhugh Park Elementary, proved to be a success. The challenge, which was held from January 1 to February 28, included participating grades 4, 5 and 6. The vision of this challenge was to increase awareness of locally-owned and operated businesses in the city of Oswego.
Destiny USA achieved certification in February 2012 and established a precedent that all new stores within the expansion were lease obligated to obtain LEED© certification. Destiny USA was formally recognized as the largest LEED Gold certified commercial building in the world on February 6, 2012 from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Syracuse, N.Y. - Destiny USA is co-sponsoring a Turn-Around Jumpers free-throw shooting contest with Dick's Sporting Goods to benefit The Salvation Army of Syracuse. The shoot out will be held in the Canyon Area of Destiny USA on Friday, May 9 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, May 10 from noon to 8 p.m.
