You’re wanted — in Saratoga, Labor Day weekendSaratoga Springs, N.Y. – Saratoga Polo welcomes avid polo player and host of America’s Most Wanted, John Walsh, to the fields this Labor Day weekend. Walsh will play with his team, Shamrock, during the Friday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 6 matches. Walsh is best known for his role on the crime-fighting television show that has helped capture more than 1,050 dangerous fugitives and bring home more than 50 missing children in the past 22 years. Walsh resides near Palm Beach, FL and is a passionate polo competitor who travels the world and plays the game year-round, visiting the Skaneateles Polo Club in New York in the summer and returning to the Vero Beach club in the winter. The final matches of the 2009 Saratoga Polo season will be played this Friday and Sunday; gates open at 4 p.m. and matches start at 5:30 p.m. at the polo grounds at Bloomfield and Denton Roads (weather and field conditions permitting). Admission is $25 per person for entry into the Clubhouse – offering box seats, air-conditioning and a full cash bar – or $25 per carload on the general admission lawn.
