Watertown, N.Y. - Attention local photographers - the Third Annual Tug Hill Calendar Photo Contest is back and is once again looking for great photos taken anywhere within the Tug Hill region. This is your chance to be a part of the only Tug Hill Calendar! Photos received will be judged and the winning photo will be featured as the cover of the Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust 2012 Calendar. The other top selected photos will be featured as months and smaller framing photos within the calendar. Wildlife, snow, streams, forests, people having fun outside - we want them all! All images will be considered including film prints, slides, and digital images. Digital images are preferred and must be sent as originial, high-resolution photos. Please include your name, contact information and photo location and date when submitting photos. The deadline for submitting photos is July 2011, and all photos submitted are subject to unrestricted use for any purpose by Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust. Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust is a nonprofit regional organization that works with private landowners to protect and foster responsible stewardship practices of working forest, farm, recreation and wild lands in northern New York's 2,100 square-mile Tug Hill region. The Tug Hill region covers parts of Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida and Oswego Counties.
