When: Wednesday, August 7, 2013 Time: 5-7 PM Where: The Blackberry Inn B&B, 209 6th Street, Watkins Glen, NY The Blackberry Inn B&B, owned by Brian Eslinger and David Hertel opened their doors for business on June 1, 2013, but are officially welcoming guests regularly and are ready to celebrate. The 1830's Greek Revival Farmhouse features three-guest rooms and a guest living room and dining room.  The Blackberry Inn B&B is beautifully decorated with a blend of contemporary and antique pieces from family and friends and features original pieces of art painted by David Hertel, Innkeeper.  For years Brian and David have been welcoming family and friends to their home and it has always been a dream of theirs to open a bed & breakfast.  In October of 2012 they bought the future Blackberry Inn B&B and began the task of renovating and updating.  Brian has over 18 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry in the area of sales and marketing and David is an artist with a BFA.  "We invite you to experience the Blackberry Inn Bed & Breakfast where you will come as friends and leave as family," said Brian and David.          The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature local dignitaries and an official welcome with opening remarks by Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, Rebekah LaMoreaux; Schuyler County Administrator, Tim O'Hearn; Schuyler County Legislature Chairman, Dennis Fagan; Watkins Glen Mayor, Mark Swinnerton; and The Blackberry Inn B&B Owner Brian Eslinger.
