Since it was first introduced into comedy clubs in 1999, the Ladies of Laughter contest has served as the launching pad for women in comedy with past winners receiving cash prizes, comedy bookings and major publicity. Past events have been held at major comedy clubs, Atlantic City casinos and even Madison Square Garden.  This past year, the contest added the Funny & Fabulous Tour with past winners visiting major theatres around the country to packed houses. Chris Rich has been featured on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, ABC's The View and on The Lifetime Network. She's worked with Jerry Seinfeld, Sherman Hemsley, Joy Behar, Gilbert Gottfried, Roseanne and Tony Danza, to name a few. Her performing career started, however, as a theatrical "triple-threat"-an actress, singer and dancer in an endless stream of drama, opera, improvisational theatre and musicals. Smart, savvy and funny, Leighann Lord's "heads up humor" is stand-up comedy at its finest. Inspired by the brilliance of George Carlin, the smooth jazz style of Franklyn Ajaye and the elegance of Rita Rudner, Leighann has crafted her own unique brand of Thinking Cap Comedy. Patty Rosborough is a top NYC comedian with a long list of credits including headlining at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, the BBC's The World Stands Up, VH1, Showtime and co-hosting Comedy Central's Short Attention Span Theater with Jon Stewart. You can follow her breathless, frenetic and shamelessly uninhibited performances through every major club throughout the country. Regina DeCicco won Lower Hudson Valley's Funniest Person in 2011. She spent many years in television behind the scenes before deciding to take the plunge into the world of stand-up comedy. She spent five seasons at Saturday Night Live in the Design Department and one season at Whoopi, Whoopi Goldberg's NBC sitcom. For more information on the ladies of laughter, go to
