old_rhinebeck_aerodrome_logo.pngRhinebeck, N.Y. - During the weekend of July 20 & 21, our museum's 1917 Fokker Dr.I Triplane and 1918 Fokker D.VII will be featured in a special tribute to the best-known German fighter aircraft of their time. The Fokkers will be parked in our main courtyard to allow visitors to get up close and personal with the aircraft, and our staff will be available to answer questions about these legendary machines. Special presentations by our aviation historians will be given at 12:00 and 4:30 pm to provide insight about the design, history and flying characteristics of Fokker aircraft. The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is a not-for-profit organization specializing in early aviation. The museum and grounds boast some of the rarest authentic and replica planes from the early 1900's through the late 1930's. Every weekend between June and October vintage aircraft from the collection take to the skies to perform amazing airshows. The Museum and grounds open at 10am with air shows on both days at 2pm. Admission: Adults - $20, Seniors 65+ and teens ages 13-17 - $15, Juniors ages 6-12 - $5, Under 6 - Free.  Special rate for military personnel - $15.  Biplane rides are available for $75 per person on a first-come-first-served basis. Air shows and rides are weather permitting.
