Ticonderoga, N.Y. - The Best 4th In The North Committee is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2014 Best 4th In The North Celebration in Ticonderoga, NY. The 2014 Best 4th In The North Celebration will take place July 1-5, 2014 with a grand fireworks display, parade, the Montcalm Mile, as well as a variety of live music, food, vendors, rides, games, and much more throughout the five day celebration.

"We have extended the celebration for 2014 by one day adding events happening at the Knights of Columbus and The Pub in Downtown Ticonderoga on July 5th. The committee is not wasting anytime and both of these events will have fundraisers for the 2015 Best 4th In The North Celebration. Thank you to the K of C and The Pub for their continued support," shared Molly Bechard - Committee Member.

The Best Fourth in the North Celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga area every year, which supports many local businesses and the local economy as a whole.

Knights of Columbus (Ticonderoga) Starting at 2:00 PM until at least 7:00 PM. Multiple local bands (Free Admission), Chicken & Rib BBQ with all of the fixings ($15 for Adults & $12 for Youth Under 10), 50/50 Raffle to benefit the Best 4th In The North, as well as a Basket Raffle to benefit Relay For Life of Crown Point.

10:00 PM: Live Music - The Heard - The Pub
Alternative & Heavy Rock. The Pub is located in Downtown Ticonderoga.
Donations for the Best 4th In The North will be accepted at this event.

All events are open to the public and donations are  appreciated to benefit the Fireworks. All events are in Bicentennial Park in Downtown Ticonderoga unless otherwise stated. All times & information are subject to change.

The Theme for the 2014 Parade will be "Ticonderoga, The First 250 Years." The parade will begin at 2:00 PM with line up starting near Brannock Properties/Town of Ticonderoga Highway Garage. The bandstand for the parade will be located next to Rathbun Jewelers. Prizes and certificates will be awarded for floats in the following categories: Most Patriotic and Most Creative (Theme Related).

The Best 4th In The North Committee is excited and pleased to announce the Grand Marshals for the 2014 Best 4th In The North Parade. In staying with the theme of "Ticonderoga, The First 250 Years" the committee has decided to have three Grand Marshals representing the Past, Present, & Future.
