Gloversville, N.Y. - The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County Business Development Center are seeking tourism facilities and agricultural businesses to participate in agritourism packages for the CNY Fresh campaign.

Fulton and Montgomery Counties participate in the CNY Fresh marketing campaign, a 10-county regional project designed to highlight the agritourism opportunities throughout all of Central New York. has become a tourist destination focused on the many flavors of our region by creating themed packages and itineraries, highlighting agricultural businesses and event listings.

"We are now preparing our Fulton-Montgomery themed overnight packages," stated Gina DaBiere-Gibbs, Director of Tourism for Fulton County. "We are seeking lodging facilities, restaurants that source local products, and agricultural businesses to partner together and offer an agritourism experience in Fulton and Montgomery Counties. If you are a participant in the Harvest Tour Map of Fulton and Montgomery Counties, we urge you to contact us about being a part of this new endeavor. "

"We will give the participants guidance and help structure the overnight packages. The goal is offer an experience that highlights the great agricultural assets of communities and increase overnight stays in the region," adds Karl Gustafson, Montgomery County Economic Development Specialist.
