From Brad Paisley to the Allman Brothers - Watch Great Music in Greene County

Greene County, N.Y. - This summer, watch country music's hottest stars, bluegrass legends and jam bands perform during the Great Northern Catskills of Greene County's annual line-up of star-studded music festivals and events starting June 5.


Number One: Mountain Jam

Your summer soundtrack begins at Hunter Mountain with the 10th Annual Radio Woodstock Mountain Jam Festival on June 5-8 with what promises to be one of the best line-ups in the festival's history, including:

• The Allman Brothers
• The Avett Brothers
• Michael Franti & Spearhead
• Gov't Mule
• Bob Weir and Ratdog
• Pretty Lights

Camping and non-camping tickets are on sale now starting at $235 for a three-day pass with camping, and $199 for a three-day pass without camping. Four day and single day ticket options are also available.

Number Two: Taste of Country

The musical magic continues with the 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival June 13-15 featuring performances by the genres top stars, including:

• Hank Williams, Jr.

• Craig Morgan

Number Three: Grey Fox Bluegrass

In July, Walsh Farm in Oak Hill will host the much-anticipated Grey Fox Music Festival July 17-20, featuring four days of musical performances, family- friendly entertainment and workshops, seminars and great music everywhere you look. Headliners include the newly reunited Nickel Creek, as well as:
• The Carolina Chocolate Drops
• Del McCoury Band
• Gibson Brothers
• Aoife O'Donovan

Now through May 15, a special spring ticket rate of $175 is available for the full festival with camping. Day tickets start at $25 per person.

Number Four: East Durham Irish Festival

The Catskills are renowned as a destination for musicians and artists spanning generations and genres. Don't miss the 37th Annual East Durham Irish Festival May 24-25 at the Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural & Sports Centre. Enjoy a full line-up of celebrated Irish musicians, free camping, dancing and more. Advance tickets are now available online starting at $15.

Number 5: International Celtic Festival

In August, don't miss the International Celtic Festival at Hunter Mountain featuring the sights and sounds of Ireland. From August 16-17, enjoy live Irish-American music, dancing, traditional cuisine and beverages. Tickets are $16 and may be purchased online or at the gate. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
