Rose Hapanowich, of Destiny USA, will lead the charge as the Director of Travel and Tourism. Hapanowich gained extensive retail background from department store and outlet venues prior to joining Carousel Center (now Destiny USA) as Assistant Marketing Director. She was named Marketing Director in October of 1996 and will now lead the brand's efforts outside the region as Director of Travel and Tourism. The regional shopping, dining and entertainment destination is rapidly gaining exposure by actively marketing and collaborating with the Syracuse Convention & Visitors Center, I Love NY, Destinations of New York State, the Shop America Alliance, and more, to national and international markets with the goal of drawing travelers into Syracuse as a new stopover on existing itineraries and a destination in its own right.
