We know it’s hard to truly enjoy yourself when spending time apart from your fur baby, but finding pet-friendly accommodations isn’t always easy. Well, you and Fido are in luck. New York State has plenty of pet-friendly getaway options, from campgrounds, beaches, and dog parks, to upscale inns and hotels. Call ahead or check hotel and attraction websites and social media for the most current information on openings and amenity availability. Additionally, keep in mind that if you have recently been to or are coming from a state on the COVID-19 travel advisory, you will be required to complete a 10-day quarantine when you arrive in New York. Travelers may undergo COVID testing to test out.
