New York is a special place for fireworks. With the Fourth of July coming up, we know you want to take your family to see the most spectacular fireworks display you can find.
The Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks show in New York City is the largest in the country. But if you can’t make it to “The Big Apple,” there are other breathtaking landmarks in Upstate New York that brighten and flicker under the falling embers. You can see cascading firework lights reflected in Niagara Falls, or watch them streak through the sky over Montauk’s Umbrella Beach, among many other places.
Scroll down below for a few suggestions for great places across New York to watch a stunning display. Make sure to bring your camera because we’ll be looking for your best shots in our #iSpyNY Fourth of July contest.
