“Signs of the Times: Flavors of Yesterday” Exhibit Opening

Local historian John Antonowicz, who has collected vintage Chenango County signs for decades, partners with the Chenango County Historical Society in this exhibit featuring advertising ephemera related to grocery stores and restaurants. Large vintage storefront signs along with historic promotional material offer a taste of culinary nostalgia. During “Path Through History Weekend,” special events such as this one highlight historically and culturally significant sites in order to offer new perspectives on New York state’s heritage. Admission is a free-will donation left up to each visitor's discretion.
