25th Anniversary Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration. A free, 3-day celebration of 25 years of commemorations of the historic 1814 Battle of Plattsburgh. Immerse yourself in "Living History" with historic reenactments, a Children's Fair, Kids' Games and Parade and Old Time Crafts. Enjoy concerts, games, 5k run, Nature Exhibits, Memorial Ceremonies, Fireworks, music in the Park and English Country Dancing. Take historic walking tours, listen to history lectures, see demonstrations of "Life Skills" from the 1814 period. Join in our contests and raffles, tour the many local museums and exhibits. Visit the Military reenactment Encampment and talk with onsite reenactors and demonstrators. Our Parade is one of the largest and best attended in the North Country including military bands, floats and entrants for near and far.
