Details

Seneca Lake is known to be the Lake Trout Capital of the world! For 56 years anglers from all across the US join together in the Finger Lakes trolling for the biggest catch of the season. This year the largest fish takes home $10,000! With over $30,000 in prizes given out, you don't want to miss your chance to register. Weigh-in stations are at the north and south end and midway at Sampson State Park (newly Samsen Marina). All are welcome to register with a New York State Fishing license. At the completion of the derby (12 pm on May 25) all are welcome to Tiki Bar North for the award ceremony, starting at 3 pm. At the ceremony, the winning fish are put on display and awards are given out. Live music, food, and drink will also be available.
