Choose your path through history! Join the Albany County Historical Association in celebrating Path Through History on Saturday Oct 12 from 11 am -4 pm with free programming at 12 historic sites & over 40 historic views in Albany County. Explore the rich & diverse history of Albany County: driving, walking & biking options. How to participate: 1) Register to receive maps in advance. 2) Plan your day! Each site has free programs. Special events at the Ten Broeck Mansion: free tours, family art kits & self-guided garden discovery tours. Ten Broeck Museum Shop open 11am - 4 pm: books & fine locally made artisan goods. Documenting Untold Stories Free lecture series and history workshop, noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm (register separately). Participating Historic Sites & Museums: Ten Broeck Mansion, American Italian Heritage Association & Museum, Albany Rural Cemetery, Historic St. Agnes Cemetery, Huyck Preserve, Irish American Heritage Museum, Knox Historical Society Museum, New Scotland Historical Association, Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence, Town of Bethlehem Historical Association, Van Schaick Mansion, Watervliet Historical Society Museum and Cultural Center.
