The Albion Strawberry Festival returns June 12–13, 2026, bringing family fun, live entertainment, delicious food, and community spirit to the historic Erie Canal village of Albion, New York. Celebrating “A Berry Big 250th,” this beloved annual event offers two days packed with activities for all ages, making it one of Orleans County’s premier summer traditions. Festivalgoers can enjoy a wide variety of food vendors, craft exhibitors, live music, family attractions, and special community events throughout downtown Albion. New food options and expanded vendor locations will enhance the experience in 2026. The craft marketplace, sponsored by Renovation Lodge #97: Albion Masons, features talented artisans and unique handmade goods. Friday’s festivities include the Festival Family Fun Center on Main Street with pedal tractor pulls, interactive games, bounce houses, a trackless train, face painting, caricatures, and more. Visitors can enjoy a Chicken BBQ and strawberry shortcake at the First Presbyterian Church while listening to live performances from Feedback, the Stanton Rock N Roll Band, V3, and Jim Aina. Saturday begins with the highly anticipated parade sponsored by Nathan Lyman, featuring marching bands, drum corps, shriners, and community groups. Additional highlights include the Cruise-In classic car show, live music throughout the day, the popular Turtle Race on the Erie Canal Bridge, car seat safety checks, child safety IDs, and appearances by McDonald’s characters.
