Antique Bottle Show And sale to benefit the National Bottle Museum, a not for profit (501 C-3) educational institution dedicated to the preservation and history of bottles and the glassblowing industry. The show is the Museums chief fundraiser and is attended by dealers and collectors from across the United States. All types of old bottles, related glassware, stoneware, and ephemera will be available for sale. There will be live flameworking demonstrations by the Glassworks studio, educational displays, and a free bottle grab bag for all students (12 and under accompanied by an adult). Research materials will be available for the students to learn a little more about the bottle they have chosen. Attendees can bring in their old bottles for identification (empty only please, bottles with contents bring photo & description). The show is a good place to learn about old bottles, and we take the opportunity to promote the fun and interesting hobby of bottle collecting. The National Bottle Museum, a short distance away, will be open during the show. Food and refreshments will be available on the fairgrounds.
