Join three-time James Beard Award–winner Dan Pashman, creator and host of The Sporkful podcast and inventor of the viral cascatelli pasta shape, for a delightful evening learning about his innovative career in food and the creation of his first cookbook, Anything’s Pastable on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Finger Lakes Community College, brought to you by FLCC & New York Kitchen. Dan changed the way we think about pasta shapes with his invention of the viral sensation cascatelli and does the same for pasta sauces in this fun and delicious cookbook, which includes a foreword from bestselling author J. Kenji López-Alt. Dan’s pasta shape invention went viral and was named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of the Year. Please join us for this fun and informative evening! A Welcome Reception with samples of Dan’s recipes, created by FLCC’s Culinary Arts students, will be included. Dan will begin speaking at 7:15PM. After Dan’s talk, he will be selling and signing his cookbook and his inventive pasta shape!
