Catskill Summer Solstice Celebration

Join Us for the longest day of the year with an unforgettable evening in the Village of Catskill! On Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 4 PM to 10 PM, Main Street—from the northern end to Bridge Street—will be closed to traffic and transformed into a lively, pedestrian-only festival zone. Building on the incredible momentum of last winter’s solstice celebration, this summer edition invites families and friends to enjoy an evening filled with live music in pocket parks, a ceremonial fire pit complete with s’mores, nature-inspired crafts, a moving sunset ritual, roaming street performers, and a high-energy outdoor dance party. As the sun lingers in the sky, Main Street businesses will stay open late—until at least 8 PM—offering special in-store activities, sidewalk events, and unique shopping experiences. Wander through the vibrant streetscape of historic Catskill and connect with the community while celebrating the sun’s life-giving energy and the rhythms of the season.
