Lake Ontario Wine Trail – Jolly, Holly Christmas Around the World! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit Europe, Australia or even Central America for the holidays? Better yet, visit several nations and enjoy the treats of the season… all in one weekend?

On December 7th through the 8th guests can travel around the world on the Lake Ontario Wine Trail’s annual holiday tour. This event is held from 11 AM to 6 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. This is a self-guided tour.

Come celebrate the season at 10 locations that will represent a different country, pair traditional holiday dishes with local award-winning wines, spirits and ciders. All pairings offer unique flavors for guests to experience. There will be plenty of fun, food, and holiday shopping for all to enjoy.

Participating locations include:

Newly opened Boom Point Winery (Williamson), will represent Poland; Casa Larga Vineyards, Italy; JD Wine Cellars, Costa Rica; Young Sommer Winery, Norway; Thorpe Vineyard, Great Brian; Colloca Estate Winery, Australia; Rootstock Cider and Spirits Spain; Embark Craft Ciderworks, Holland; Old Goat Cidery at the Apple Shed will take you away to France and Pop's House of Country Collectibles in Sodus Point will represent Germany.

Tickets can be purchased online for $25 each (presale) or for $30 at the first stop on your tour. Reservations for groups of 8 or more are appreciated.
