Dennis Heaphy; Tinsmith for the Statue of Liberty Historical Presentation.

Dennis Heaphy, Fourth Generation Tinsmith will present the history and restoration information of the Statue of Liberty. Mr. Heaphy provides an interactive demonstration of the tools and materials that were used in the original construction and restoration of the Statue of Liberty. All ages will enjoy learning about the part this Statue played in welcoming immigrants to Ellis Island. Participants will have the opportunity to use the unique tools of the tinsmith trade.
