A special weekend at the Historic Kilmer Mansion - the Designer Show House hosted by the Junior League of Binghamton! Explore Kilmer Mansion as never seen before! Each room has been transformed by a local designer, fusing The Kilmer Family's 1898 trappings with 2025 charm. All proceeds from the Designer Show House will go to the Junior League of Binghamton for their community projects, including fighting food insecurity with their current project, the Food Recovery & Prepared Meal Truck. About Kilmer Mansion: Kilmer Mansion was built in 1898 for the Kilmer family and is now a historic community space to host tours, groups, gatherings, programs, events, and weddings. The Kilmers splashed their name across the city of Binghamton and were known around the world. Purveyors of the world-famous Swamp Root on which they built their fortune. Founders of the illustrious Binghamton Press. Owners of world-class racehorse, ‘Exterminator’ the much beloved Kentucky Derby winner of 1918. Friends of Kilmer Mansion is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the Mansion with the community and raising the funds needed to restore and preserve this historic gem.
