In the early part of the 21st century, a few recreational PWC users on The Great Sacandaga Lake in the Adirondack Mountain Park of New York State became aware of each other and began to ride together. Following several years of small individual group riding, these groups were introduced to each other and the Adirondack Jetski Club (AJC) was formed. Initially, the “Club” was an informal group, comprised of a couple of smaller riding crews who met over the course of the season to ride together and enjoy each other’s company. As time crept forward, and the members met more often and became closer friends, an idea was put forth to put together a social gathering in the summer of 2008. In the time following that first event, the rally became an annual institution, recognized by the AWA, PWC magazines and the watercraft community as a “world class PWC event” in the spirit of the Florida Rally Series, Daytona Freeride, Lake Norris ride, and other events of the past and present. Over 50 industry sponsors have been brought on to provide event prizes and increase their market exposure, as well as to promote their products and services. It has long been the goal of the AJC to share their favorite gear with friends and help the truly innovative companies grow and flourish. A free PWC is given away each year!
