Experience Revolutionary War History & Heritage in Putnam County

The Putnam History Museum invites you to embark on a journey through history with the American Revolutionary War History Crawl throughout Putnam County. This self-guided driving (& walking) tour offers a chance to explore many historically significant sites and places that played a crucial role in the American Revolution. Along the way, you'll encounter thought-provoking questions that will connect you with the history you're seeing and experiencing. If completed in a single day, the entire tour in around three and a half hours. However, if you prefer to take it at a more leisurely pace, you can break the tour up into two parts and spread it over two days. For further exploration, the tour also includes a recommended list of Revolutionary War sites in the Hudson Valley. The booklets will be available for pick-up at the Putnam History Museum throughout the Path Through History Weekend.
