Exploring the Evolution of Environmentalism Through New York's Oldest Environmental Education Center

Details

The Rogers Environmental Education Center (Rogers Center) hosts a 600-acre open house. Showcasing our Historic Stone House, constructed in 1835 with stones from the Chenango Canal, a three part pond system created in 1933 by the Civilian Conservation Corp, and over six miles of trails that weave through the rich history of the New York State's first game farm (1909) turned nature sanctuary (1965). Staff will be on site to welcome guests at the Visitors Center, and instruct participants on self guided tours of the land and facilities.
