Field of Flags

Honor those who are gone but never forgotten. Fort William Henry Museum places over 9,000 flags in a field on the west part of the fort once a year. Each flag has a name of an active duty or veteran according to time served and branch of service. Stop by to pay your respects to those who have fought in the wars. On November 11th there will be a musket salute at 10:30am. If anyone would like to share the names of their service man or woman to be added to the field, contact the Fort with full name, rank, military branch, and period of service.
