FREE Holiday Open House at Mesier Homestead in Wappingers Falls

Stop in to see the beautifully decorated downstairs rooms of the 1741 Mesier Homestead, complete with candlelight, greenery, ribbons and bows. Self-guided. A docent will be available to welcome you and answer your questions about the Homestead. Free admission. No reservations are necessary. Our 2024 Open House dates are Wednesdays, 12/11 and 12/18; Thursdays, 12/13 and 12/19, and Saturday, 12/21. All are from 11am - 2pm. The gift shop will also be open, and it is the perfect place to start (or finish) your holiday shopping! Located near the room where Peter Mesier had his store, we feature work by local artists, books by local authors and other unique items. All proceeds benefit the Wappingers Historical Society in their mission to preserve and promote the history of the Wappinger area.
