For summer 2018, the Geneva Historical Society will again offer Wednesday Walking Tours focused on topics in Geneva's history and architecture. Adaptive reuse finds new purposes for old buildings that serve both preservation and the new tenants. Discover how many buildings along South Main Street have been re-puposed. The tour will begin outside the Geneva Historical Society building at 543 South Main Street at 7 p.m. Wednesday Walking Tours will run rain or shine on the second Wednesday of each month. The tour on July 11 will explore sites related to Geneva artist Arthur Dove and the final tour on August 8 will look at the Torrey Park neighborhood. All tours start at 7 p.m. and cost $5 per person. Payment can be made in advance at the Historical Society office or at the beginning of the tour. Please bring exact change or a check if you pay the night of the tour. Reservations are preferred, but not required.
