This holiday season, the Christian humanitarian organization World Vision is bringing charitable giving to life in New York’s Bryant Park with a first-of-its-kind interactive pop-up shop. The Give-back Gift Shop will feature life-changing gifts such as farm animals, clean-water and child sponsorship which can be given in a loved one’s name this holiday season to help a family in need in the 100 countries where World Vision works.
Holiday shoppers will be invited to touch and feel the impact of their generosity first-hand by taking part in a water walk, petting live animals, stepping inside a Mongolian ger, building a relief kit to help families in the United States, and learning about child sponsorship in a virtual reality station.
Monday, November 27th J.D. Scott from the Property Brothers will make an appearance at the Give-back Gift Shop. On Giving Tuesday, November 28th, Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Jennifer Nettles will come to the store. On Wednesday, November 29th, Emmy-award winning actress Patricia Heaton from The Middle and Everybody Loves Raymond will make an appearance.
