Gravestone Cleaning Workshop

Gravestone Cleaning Workshop at Historic St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Do you like old cemeteries and find gravestones interesting? Have you ever wondered how to properly clean them? Our gravestone cleaning workshop will teach you how to clean stones using best practices established by the Association for Gravestone Studies. All cleaning materials are provided. You will need to bring a rinse bucket or dishpan. Gloves and garden seat are optional. Cleaning products used are non-toxic. Class size is limited, and pre-registration is required. A $40 materials fee is due on the morning before class begins. Children over the age of 8 years accompanied by an adult are welcome.
