Hike Through History: Heaven Hill

A walk of between one and two miles through a very old orchard with discussion of the history of this property and how it connects to John Brown's family. We will meet at the John Brown Farm circle, and go by car to the trailhead, which is a couple miles up hill from the historic site. Appropriate shoes are required, bringing water is recommended. The walk entails going up a mild grade on a good trail, with a majestic view if the sky is clear. Registration is preferred but not required for individuals, except large groups, which must get in touch.
