Historic Cemetery Walking Tour

Join the Cemetery's historian for a free walking tour. Departing from the Cemetery's Chapel, the tour will cover some of the notable burials, monuments, and vaults. The Cemetery was incorporated in 1841, covers 467 acres, and is the final resting place of many significant figures from veterans of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, prominent African Americans, artists, and President Chester A. Arthur. This tour will follow some unpaved paths and hill terrain so appropriate walking shoes are required and bug spray is recommended.
