Join us at GCV&M on Wednesday, December 11, for our Home for the Holidays Homeschool Family Field Trip Day! We’re inviting homeschool families to join us for a favorite program at GCV&M. Step into holiday-time traditions of old as you explore the wintry Historic Village, experience hands-on learning opportunities, and see how families in the 19th-century would celebrate a multitude of holidays during the cold winter months. Homeschool families are divided into tour groups as they arrive. These guided tours cover several aspects of celebrating holidays in the 19th century, including: traditional foods, dancing, singing, storybook reading, creating a craft and more! General student (3-18 years): $10, General adult: $12, Museum Member student: $9, Museum Member adult: $10.
