Honest Brook Music Festival Presents: Balourdet Quartet

The Honest Brook Music Festival was started in 1989 and has become a fixture of the classical music scene in Delaware County and the surrounding area during the past 34 years, giving concerts annually each summer except for the summer of 2020 when the concert season had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The concerts are held in a converted dairy barn, and both the artists and the audience enjoy its warm, resonant acoustics. Artists have regularly commented on how wonderful it is to perform in the barn before the festival’s receptive audience. We will continue with no physical tickets however all seats will need to be reserved in advance. The Balourdet Quartet (Angela Bae, violin; Justin DeFilippis, violin; Benjamin Zannoni, viola; and Russell Houston, cello) based in Boston, Massachusetts, is currently in residence at the New England Conservatory’s Professional String Quartet Program.
