Visit the 200+ year old historic home of William Henry and Frances Seward and explore 19th century history while traversing through a nearly completely original collection of family objects. William Henry Seward served as a New York Senator, New York Governor, US Senator, and Secretary of State to presidents Lincoln and Johnson. He is most famously remembered for Seward's Folly, or initiating the United States' purchase of Alaska. Frances Seward was an abolitionist and women's rights advocate who opened her home as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Learn more about the family and their relevance during Path Through History weekend! Tours on June 15 run hourly, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Tours on June 16 run hourly, from 1 to 5 PM. House Tours: Museum members – Free Admission, Adults – $14.00, AAA/Senior Citizens (65+)/Military – $12.00, National Trust Members – $12.00, Cayuga County Residents - $10.00, Students with ID – $8.00, Children under 6 – Free Admission.
