I Love My Park Day 2025

Help us get Gilbert Lake ready for the 2025 season! I Love My Park Day is the largest single-day volunteer event in NYS and presents a perfect opportunity to clean up our favorite parks and shorelines, plant trees and gardens, restore trails and wildlife habitat, remove invasive species, and work on various site improvement projects--all which help to prepare our iconic state park system and public lands for the start of the season. Join us at Gilbert Lake State Park this year for sign and building painting, general grounds cleanup, flower bed cleanup and mulching, playground mulching, Community Garden preparation and trail maintenance.
