Irish Soda Bread in a Jar: A Child and Family Program

With a nod to Irish heritage and Staatsburgh’s connection to Ireland, participants will craft Irish soda bread in a jar to bake at home. We’ll visit a replica of one of the Irish maid’s bedrooms in the mansion, learn about the Mills’s daughter, who married the 8th Earl of Granard, an Irish aristocrat, and read an Irish-themed picture book. All materials will be supplied. Appropriate for children ages 4 and older, accompanied by an adult.
